Compromise

All the talking heads and pundits are railing against the TEA Party blaming them for all the ills of Washington and for their hard line approach of not wanting (I say wanting, because the TEA Party caucus is very small and controls nothing. So it could never hold any bill "hostage." Also what is there to compromise about when the fate of our nation hangs by a thread and the only adult in the room saying to stop spending is the TEA Party) to compromise. Tell me, where was that concern for compromise during the health care debate when the republicans were shut out of negotiations and President Obama told them that, "elections have consequences, we won!"


FAA Jobs

The news were all up in arms about congress leaving on summer recess without fixing the FAA bill and it put 4000 FAA bureaucrats out of work. Yet they barely mentioned it when the CEO of General Electric and the Presidents friend and Jobs Czar, Jeffery Imelt moved tons of jobs from the US to China.


Washington's Idea Of Spending Cuts

When our government makes a budget it automatically assumes that they will have more money the next year, because that is the way it has always been no matter who was in power. So when they make "cuts" in spending, their fuzzy math counts taking that automatic increase as a spending cut. Yes, it sounds pretty ridiculous, but when the news carries their water they can get away with it. Just like they do when they count a tax reduction as spending. It has been said so much by their propaganda pushers that the public believes it. President Obama and the progressives know what Joseph Goebbels and the NAZI's knew that, "if you tell a large enough lie long enough, it will be believed."
Frankly the cuts proposed by both parties are insulting, without the reduction of increases. Two trillion dollars over a ten year period isn't even a good start. So for the news media and democrats to demagogue and use the scare tactics of how these anorexic, nonexistent cuts are starving kids and killing granny is ludicrous. Then the so called "conservatives" in the republican party has the audacity to propose a plan that still adds trillions to a debt.

If these people don't wake up and stop bickering which party is going to be the one to spend us into oblivion, then our nation is doomed. Smarter heads must prevail and begin real cuts in our budgets, deficits and debts. All of us, yes all of us put our nation in this hole, and it is going to take all of is to fix it. We all must make sacrifice to get our fiscal house in order, from the very bottom to the very top.


Fair Share Stats

*Taxes
Top 2% of Americans pay 30% of the tax burden.
Top 10% of Americans pay 78% of the tax burden.
Bottom 47-51% contribute nothing in the way of taxes.
So which one isn't paying their "fair share?"
*Spending
Over half of our spending comes from entitlements like social security, Medicare, income security and health services. Another 1/5 to 1/4 is military spending and both need to be cut. They make up the bulk of our spending, and although it would be nice to cut the rest too, it would only be a drop in the bucket. Entitlement have to be cut, we have too many people on the government teat. 45.8m Americans are getting food stamps, a 22% hike since Obama took office. That is unacceptable.
*Debt
From 2006-2011 our national debt has risen from 8.5 trillion dollars to well over 16 trillion dollars. It has all but doubled in a five year period. Not only is that unacceptable, it is unsustainable.
I am positive that most Americans would be more than willing to pay more in taxes if it meant that our debt would be tackled, but it won't be. Politicians only see more taxes as more money for them to spend. Instead of our presidents perverted sense of "fair share," I have a better idea. A small flat tax with no loopholes that everyone pays regardless of income level and a national sales tax. There is nothing fair in today's system when half of Americans pay nothing, yet they reap all the rewards. Lets have everyone truly pay their fair share and make it a fair system.


Stimulus! Stimulus!

The progressives and their media lapdogs are crying for more stimulus. That all we need to do to fix the economy is to spend even more money that we don't have and have to to borrow. If this truly worked we should be flush with jobs right now. With TARP, stimulus 1, stimulus 2, QE 1, QE 2, and the extension of unemployment to an unheralded 99 weeks(which according to Nancy Pelosi and President Obama is stimulus) there shouldn't be an out of work American, but somehow we are still above 9%.


Freedom of Speech

Senator John Kerry of Mass. said that the news media had a responsibility not to cover the TEA party, because he thinks they are wrong. Has he ever heard of the first amendment? And this mans makes this nations laws and was the democratic candidate for president in 2004.
The reason he wants this is that he and his parties ideas and policies can't hold up against the truth of the TEA party. So instead of trying to defeat them in the arena of political debate, an arena in which their party controls 80% of the news media(only FOX, a couple of newspapers, and talk radio is conservative), they want to shut them up. If he and his like had their way it wouldn't stop at just censorship, those crazies idea of FEMA camps just may come to fruition.


Campaigner-in-Chief

Every speech President Obama gives is a stump speech, with that preacher tone and too much reverb. Still using the "evil" George Bush as the boogeyman, as well as the hope and change platform (which has turned into the American people hoping to have some change in their pockets.). He is on a continuous campaign trail. At this point in his presidency George Bush had 7 fundraisers, Barrack Obama has 36, and with his Midwest swing will soon pass 40 in the same time frame. But how else would he build his war chest to a record breaking billion dollars so hey can buy support? This is the same man that says we need campaign finance reform as Senator Obama, but as President Obama those words are conspicuously gone from his rhetoric (he only wanted for the republican donors anyway.). Then again Senator Obama's views are often at odds with President Obama's views.


Social Security Money

People complain constantly when anyone talks of cutting this sacred cow and others like it, and blame it all on those evil TEA Party folks. Yet President Obama gets praise for taking the very money that funds these programs out of the system with the payroll tax holiday. That is money we are suppose top pay into this system to fund it, so when it is not there our country must borrow it.


Gov. Rick Perry

The Response, the day of prayer and fasting he attended and that got the progressives panties in a wad is why we like him. He is unapologetic about what he is. Besides, their argument is completely wrong. The first amendment gives you freedom of religion, not from it. Gov Perry was making you go to this service. If you don't like it, don't watch or don't go. Your attitude of not wanting it is the very dictatorial powers you say you are against. Plus it is patently ridiculous to use the invalid argument of Separation of Church and State. Our nation was built on Christian principles, that don't mean you have to be a Christian, but to deny its founding and the fact that our founder's prayed daily as the formed this nation and spoke of God ardently in its defense is just historically false. You progressive keep on "interpreting" and already interpreted document into something you want it to say, but don't. This was the reason the TEA Party was born, your actions are killing our country and its moral fiber.


Demanding Their Seat At The Table

Why is it when anyone has some sort of protest or rally they are praised and lauded by the news media, except for the TEA Party. The politically correct media praises teachers, labor unions, communists, gays, blacks, Hispanics, Muslims, and any other minority or interest group you can think of for demanding their seat at the table. Yet when the TEA Party does the same they are called terrorists, extremists, hostage takers, kidnappers and idiots. They are demeaned by every talking head that blames them for all the ills of this nation(funny this nations sickness has been with us long before the TEA Party was here.), but as all of us know, the TEA Party just may be this country's antibiotic.


Downgrade

Standards and Poor's downgraded our nations credit rating Friday. The talking heads and even some people at S and P are blaming the bickering. Please, don't piss down my back and tell me it's raining. We were warned long ago that if we don't get our spending under control this would happen and that lame excuse for a deal does nothing to do that. Yet this is now an all out assault against the TEA Party to get rid of them. Sadly it is coming from the "check pants republicans" as well, who made a deal with the devil(or in this case President Obama and the democrats) to rid themselves of a thorn in their side. Just look at our history, are we really a good credit risk? Would you loan us money? Say all you want that the TEA Party and bickering caused this, but true thinking people know better. Sadly though most Americans don't think, they let the progressives think for them.


Central Falls, RI

This is a microcosm of our nations fiscal problems as a whole. The politicians gave away and promised too much to their constituents and didn't have the finances to back it up. Their unfunded liabilities made them fall, and can and will do the same to America. The politicians, nor the people want to make the hard choices that are needed to fix our problems. Yet if they don't those choices will be made for them and they won't be to their liking. Isn't it better to give up a little now to save some for later? Or are you going to be greedy and take all now and have nothing later?
We all know the answer to that. The politicians will keep on promising and spending to buy your vote (with your own money I might add) and we will keep on taking until there is nothing left, not even America. The only voice of reason in this is the TEA Party and they are being attacked on all fronts.

WAKE UP AMERICA!!!

Death of Journalism

Reporters or as they now call themselves journalists used to have that decided character. They didn't adopt the elitist moniker of journalist until the started to effect the demise of their own profession. When they stopped seeing themselves as the thorn in the side of government so that the people would not be undone, and became the thorn in the side of the people helping the government pass their progressive agenda is when they began to commit this kamikaze rush. Instead of reporting the news like they are supposed to, they instead try to make and affect the news for their own progressive agenda.

The last couple of decades has seen this once valued profession in its death throes, when they began picking sides and pushing propaganda. When you relentlessly attack a sitting president and laud people like Louis Farrakhan and Yasser Arafat as heroes you are completely out of touch with the job you claim to do. In this same time frame they have never missed an opportunity to demoralize and demonize our military and law enforcement with their politically correct, all inclusive diatribes. At every turn the attack anything distinctly American, and place any America hating act on a pedestal.

They hide behind the idea of freedom of speech, which was granted them by our founding fathers they now claim as irrelevant to be another part of the checks and balances. They have all but forgotten that duty assigned to them by those great men. They have rendered a once honorable profession into a brood of vipers more concerned of their own vaulted name than in the search for the truth.

Journalism took its final breaths during the 2008 presidential election, where their clear goal was to make Barrack Obama a god, when they did not control the heavens. When they unashamedly showed their support for him and at times outright campaigned for him in their "reporting" of the news. Almost all are guilty, there is no need to name names(Mr. thrill running up his legs), but shame on each and everyone of you.

Their final breath came when every network and news organization went with candidate Obama on his whirlwind world tour. They made is sound like he was such the grand statesman, even comparing his Berlin speech to that of John F Kennedy. Really? They made it sound like he did such good for the nation and the world, when in all actuality he spent only a few hours  at these places doing nothing but photo ops. To top it all off, everything that happened was breaking news. Breaking news Obama lands in Kuwait, breaking news Obama give a speech, breaking news Obama lands in Afghanistan, breaking news Obama takes off from Afghanistan, breaking news Obama is in Iraq, Breaking News Obama is in Germany(where incidentally he would not go see wounded troops), breaking news Obama eats lunch, breaking news Obama picks his nose, Breaking news Obama takes a crap. It was that ridiculous and it killed off journalism. John McCain didn't get near the coverage that is until Sarah Palin came on board then they made every effort to destroy her. Some unbiased reporting, huh?

None of you deserve the name journalist, much less reporter. The only name that fits is hack. Our nation and our people deserve better. We need those reporters of old that reported the news, the real news.

Audacity of Politics

Our so called intelligent leaders will say and do anything to get elected/reelected or to push their progressive agenda on an unknowing and gullible public. Not only do they force laws , bills, and programs that we do not want or support down our throats, they lie about their agenda and its consequences and expect us to believe it. Sadly, many do.

Lets look at two of the bigger progressive lies touted during the campaign of 2008. In every speech Obama talked how the Iraq War was costing us 10 billion dollars a month. He would also say when asked about his energy how it would take no less than 10 years to bring any oil from offshore or ANWAR or anyplace else to make any difference and how it would take just as long for any new nuclear facilities. For some reason everyone took these statements as fact and failed to look objectively at them, just as they do all the time.

Take a look at the cost of the war and for the sake of argument that it was costing us 10 billion a month when he said it was, which was during the surge when there was more men, equipment, and supplies there. Tell me then how could presurge costs be just as expensive or postsurge. Some how that fuzzy math does not add up. Now lets question his stated cost. They have added every cost to the total, even those which would have been incurred no matter what. Our military personnel must still be fed, cared for, trained, and equipped even if they are not at war. War Ships will still be on cruises, planes will still be flying, and bullets and bombs would still be expended. So to add those things to your price is disingenuous.

Then you have the claim that we would never be able to extract oil in areas or build nuclear plants in less than ten years. Those folks that say that must not know their history. There is absolutely nothing this nation cannot do when our nation and our freedom is at stake. This is a nation went from peace to war and not just any war, the multi-front war that was previously unwinnable. After Pearl Harbor we put in a heroic effort and raised sunk ships and ships that should have taken months or even years to fix and fixed them within a couple of months and sailed into harms way. Our industrial might made ships in months, 100 tanks and plans a day. We not only supplied ourselves, but our allies as well. At this same time the Manhattan Project went from nothing to the first atomic weapon in less than five years.  This is the same nation that went to the moon in less than ten years.

So how dare they insult our national will and our national pride and our history by saying we can't do this. Then insult us even more by lauding just how they are going to bring renewable energy to fruition in less than ten years. Renewable energy that just is not feasible at this time. No matter how much propaganda they push, we need oil and will continue to need oil for quite some time in the future.

If they taut such bunk and expect us to believe and follow them, truly what do the think of us? How can any thinking person fall for such exaggerations and untruths. Just because and congressmen or a president says we can't doesn't make it so. They have an agenda to push, and if you look hard enough are getting campaign donations from opposing interests. Remember these are the same folks that has run our industry to other nations. What has congress or the president done lately? In the last three administrations and their corresponding congresses, where we have been ran by both parties, all they have accomplished is to earn the lowest approval ratings in history and to incur more deficit and debts than all those before them combined. They have done nothing but pander to special interest and ethnic/minority group for nothing more than reelection; they, none of them has done anything to restore this nation to the greatness it once boasted.

This nation and our people can overcome any adversity and survive any catastrophe without their help, or maybe I should say in spite of. And we will survive this national treason and destruction of our constitution that these politicians, who are more concerned over getting reelected than the survival of our nation, are pushing us toward. To do so we must return to those first principle our founding fathers gave us.

Sadly we are being force fed the progressive line by audacious politicians. Even sadder, we still follow and reelect them to office, just like the sheep we are.

My Hero

LtCol Alan West is my hero. He is plain spoken and not afraid to defend himself when he feels his honor has been disparaged by some "lady" that does not know the meaning of honor. This man has served his country and was willing to give his life for such ungrateful people such as Debbie Wasserman Schultz, so I believe he has also earned the right to plainly tell her what he thinks of her. If she don't like, maybe she shouldn't have as he said poked him in the chest.

Truth be told though, these folks aren't really mad over the words LtCol West spoke, its more that he spoke them. They have been so used to being able to say as they please without being challenged. The republican party was weak kneed and scared. They didn't want to be attacked by the news pundits so they took all the abuse. We have a new breed now though. A new breed who are unafraid to speak their minds and stand up for themselves as well as what they believe to be right. That is why they hate and attack Sarah Palin so much, because she is not afraid of them and they know that if they allow this to be seen it will grow and they will lose their message. What makes these liberals even madder, is when these defenses and outspoken critics come from what they perceive to be their own core constituency. Its ok to be against them if your just some "racist" whit guy, that's all republicans, but when these voices come from women like Sarah Palin and Michele Bachman, or African-Americans like Alan West and Herman Cain, and even a Latino like Marco Rubio it drive them batty. Keep up the good work!!!

Weakness

Can't Obama see that he makes himself, and this country look weak and ineffective when he makes demands on these petty dictators only to be ignored. Keep your nose out of it if your not willing to do it yourself. He is starting to believe the hype about himself, that he is the one and all should do as he wants. Nobody told this to the rest of the world and they are laughing their behinds off at him and us. He does the same in political debates, like the recent debt ceiling, drawing lines in the sand that are too easily crossed. The only thing that saves him here is his opponents, the republicans are just as waffling, and the lamestream media won't point his out.


Holier Than Thou

I am so tired of these holier than thou feel good folks complaining out of one side of their mouth how our debates have become too partisan and the rhetoric is just too much, but in their next breath they are saying that they want to have grudge sex with Michelle Bachman or how stupid her or Sarah Palin is. This includes our fearless, or maybe feckless leader Obama. There just isn't any real news networks there to point this out.

I am here to tell you this next election will be the most vile and hateful in our history. The progressive have nothing to run on but bad, so they are going to do nothing but attack. It's all they have. They think this is going to be their "OK Corral" so they will pull out all stops. They think their movement is over if they don't win. They way they went after Sarah Palin will be child's play. This nominee will have it even worse, especially if they get their way and FOX News and News Corp is forced out of the way. That is the reason this is so hot in the news, it isn't the act, it is the progressives see they can get rid of their main opponent right before the big game. Never think for a second that it is for any other reason. Do you actually think these fake reporters who have sold their profession out cares that some phones got hacked. Please, if you do I have some ocean front property to sell you in Yuma, Arizona. So get ready for it. Don't expect the news to point this out, who do you think is going to be Obama's attack dogs are going to be. Fasten your seat belts and don't be fooled by their propaganda. Stay the course and take our country back.


Stupid and Selfish America

What is wrong with Americans today. We all know that government has a massive spending and debt problem that is so far out of control it will be our ruination if it is not pulled in. Yet when someone comes up with a plan, a real plan that will work to tackle the core issues of this problem, you cry and whine because it affects you. You get on TV and play right into the progressives playbook and say, "don't cut mine, tax the rich!" Really? That wouldn't help us one bit. Even if we did, the politicians would just spend even more. So that won't do, we must drastically reduce our spending and it will have to hit everyone. If we don't you are going to end up with nothing. WAKE UP AMERICA!!

Don't let us become the people who saved this world many times and who has been called "the world last, best hope," and who ultimately became the catalyst of the world's demise. As President Obama said, "We all must eat our peas." But that means everyone, not just the rich and republicans.


Run If You Think You Can

I encourage all candidates or potential ones to run if the want. If you think you have better ideas to offer this country then run. Don't let the pundits who know nothing tell you you can't win or even get the nomination. This life was not meant for those people. It was meant for those who went on and did it. I seem to remember some "Bubba" from Arkansas who didn't have a chance to beat President George HW Bush, at least that was what all the smart people said. Only thing is nobody told him.

Say what you want about President Bill Clinton, but he stood up and defied the odds. He said he was going ahead anyway, and he won. He didn't listen to all the pundits telling him he didn't have a chance. We also had another such man. He was told he shouldn't run against a sitting president for the nomination. He did, but he lost. Though four short years later in 1980 he became one of the best presidents our country has ever had.

So if you think you can be president and could help this country, but aren't running because you don't think you can beat Obama or 2016 will be better, then you don't deserve to be president. The American people deserves better and if you don't think you can win, then you are not it.
