Correction

I must apologize to Brian Williams of NBC, he is not the person that called Laura Ingram a "slut."  It was reported that it was him and I did not wait out of my anger to post something and I was wrong and I am sorry. No that many of you out there are reading this:), but for those who do I don't want to mislead. It was Schultz off of MSNBC, and he has been suspended according to the bottom line from CNN, which if this was said about a liberal host it would be talked about all day long on every channel. I still stick by the content of the piece, where is the uproar?

Treasonous

Secretary of Defense Gates and this Administration has come up with their plan to cut the defense budget. Their game plan seems to be doing it on the backs of the very people they tell to go bleed and die. Yes, they want to cut their pay and benefits. Tell me again how this Administration love the military? He love them only for campaign backdrops and when they make him look good.Wasn't this the same administration that thought it was so evil to ask teachers to pay more into their benefits? Now they are doing the very same thing to the people willing to lay down their lives for our defense. There is an old saying, "all gave some, but some gave all." I think you can figure out yourself which one gave all.

This action is immoral and if for nothing else he has done should ensure this man does not get reelected. Not only is it immoral though, in my opinion it is downright treasonous!

Shameful

Brian Williams of NBC news should be ashamed of himself. If I remember correctly he was one of those voices calling for a more "civil dialogue" after the vicious shooting in Arizona (who was just today found unfit to stand trial. Really? He was fit enough to plan and pull that trigger), and everyone somehow blamed it on Sarah Palin. Yet here is this guy calling a honorable and lovely woman a "slut." No matter what Laura Ingram said on her show to get his goat, did that word really have to be used? What would the great Mr williams say if this word was used by a conservative commentator about a Hillary Clinton or even his comrade Andrea Mitchell.

Where is the uproar at CNN and MSNBC or the networks for that matter? Where is the cries of "vitriol" or the plethora of talking heads singing Joan Baez songs? We heard that 24/7 for weeks after that fateful day in Tucson, while they contradictively blamed and attacked Sarah Palin. Oh yeah, that's right, Ms. Ingram is a conservative. And we all know that it is open season on conservatives, especially smart, beautiful and powerful women like Ms. Ingram, Sarah Palin and Michelle Bachman.
